34-year-old killed in bus-bike Collision near Adyar

Mangaluru, Feb 12, 2024: On Sunday morning, tragedy struck as a two-wheeler rider lost his life in a collision with a KSRTC bus near Arkula Dwara, close to Adyar on the National Highway.

The deceased, identified as Charan Raj, a 34-year-old resident of the locality, was attempting to enter the highway from an inner road when the bus collided with him, leading to his unfortunate demise.

Local residents expressed their dismay and anger at the recurring accidents in the area, attributing them to what they perceive as poorly constructed roads and alleged negligence by highway authorities in enforcing safety measures.

Charan Raj, a native of Meramajalu Abbettu and employed as a mason, leaves behind a grieving family, including his wife and young child.
