3 injured as huge tree rolls over autorickshaw at Pandeshwar

Mangaluru, Nov 12, 2015: Two women travelling in an autorickshaw as well as the driver sustained injuries when a huge tree located alongside the main road in front of the Forum Fiza Mall at Pandeshwar came crashing down on the autorickshaw on  November 12, Thursday at around 3.30 pm.

 

 

The two passengers were travelling to Mulihitlu in the autorickshaw of Mohammad Iqbal when the mishap took  place. The passengers and driver have escaped with minor injuries. All the three injured have been hospitalised.

Traffic was affected on the route for some time owing to the mishap. Police and fire service personnel rushed to the spot and cleared the tree branches from the road  using tree cutting machines.
