2nd wife lodges complaint against hubby for converting and marrying Hindu girl

Mangaluru, Jan 16, 2018: In a strange incident, a woman has lodged a complaint with the Konaje police accusing her husband who is a bigamist and a father of three children, of going in for a third marriage. The woman has alleged that her husband had married a  Hindu girl and  has also converted her.

The accused Asif (35), a resident of Rantadka Boliar, a lorry driver by profession had married Afsa  18 years ago. It was only after  the marriage that Afsa realised that her husband was already married and had a child. Afsa  has a daughter and a son.

Meanwhile, Asif who went to Hubballi in search of a job never returned. Afsa had even sought the help of Women’s SHGs to trace him.  It has now been learnt that he married  a Hindu woman in Hubballi and was residing near Derlakatte.

Following this Afsa has lodged a complaint and has also allegedly accused her husband of Love Jihad.
