29 students test positive for Covid-19 in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru, Nov 23, 2020:     As many as 29 students have tested positive for Covid-19 in Dakshina Kannada district.  Students who opted for offline classes which commenced from November 18 were subject to Covid test as per the guidelines stipulated by the state government.

 

Till Saturday 21,16,441 students have been subject to Covid test in the district. Of those who tested positive, 16 are from Mangalore, seven from Bantwal, four from Sullia and one each from Puttur and Belthangady.  Some of those who tested positive have been quarantined in the hostels of their colleges while others have been asked to remain in home quarantine.
