27-year-old man allegedly assaulted with knife near Mulky

Mulky: September 18, 2015: A 27-year-old suffered serious injuries after he was allegedly assaulted with knife in Kolnadu near Mulky on Friday.

The victim has been identified as Nisar, a resident of Mulky.

The police arrested the accused Sameer (26) who was one of the accused in the gang rape case in Derlakatte.  He assaulted Nisar in a fit of rage. Nisar was seriously injured and was admitted to a private hospital in Mukka.

Police sources said that Sameer was released on Bail recently.
 A case has been registered in local police station.
