265 new Covid-19 cases in DK

Mangaluru, Oct 12, 2020:   Dakshina Kannada district recorded 265 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday.

 

According to Deputy Commissioner Dr Rajendra K V, discharges outnumbered the number of fresh cases. A total of 283 infected have recovered and were discharged from hospitals and home isolation.

The total cases in the district have risen to 26,529 and discharges have increased to 21,744.

Five more Covid-19 fatalities were recorded in the district, taking the tally of deaths to 605. The district has 4,180 active cases undergoing treatment.
