2 murder plots foiled with arrest of Vicky Shetty aide

Mangalore, Jan 31, 2014 : The CCB police  have averted two murders with the arrest of Radha alias Radhakrishna Shetty (32, an  aide of underworld don Vicky Shetty.   Radhakrishna was arrested  near Jeppu Kudupady Railway Cross on January 29.

His interrogations have revealed that he along with another notorious criminal Akashbhavan Sharan was planning to eliminate  two persons namely Chandu alias Chandrashekhar  Shetty and Mahesh Kodikal, both accused in the Bejai Raja murder case.

The police however could not apprehend Akashbhavan Sharan who managed to give them a slip. They have however seized a pistol and four bullets from the arrested Radhakrishna. The pistol was seized from Radhakrishna’s house in Kumble while the bullets were seized from the spot of the arrest.

Police wanted Radhakrishna in the case of murder of Adhishwar Transport company manager Pachu alias Prashanth Shetty reported from  Valencia on April 7 last year.

The arrested Radhakrishna has been produced before the court on January 30 and remanded to judicial custody.  As police have sought his custody, he is likely to be produced before the court again on January 31, Friday.
