2 held for offering UAE Dirhams in exchange illegally

Mangaluru, Jan 19, 2019: Two persons were arrested by the Mangaluru North Police for allegedly trying to cheat a man by offering him UAE Dirhams in exchange.

 

The arrested are Mohammed Saleem (33) and Nasrull Islam (56) from West Bengal.

The duo had met Ibrahim Khalil and said they had Rs. 7 lakh worth UAE Dirhams, showed him the notes and fled from the scene while questioned.

Ibrahim lodged a complaint with the Police under Section 420 and 34 IPC, based on which the two were arrested by CCB PSI Kabbal Raj and team.
