2 from DK who participated in Nizamuddin Markaz event quarantined at Wenlock

Mangaluru, April 01, 2020:  Two men from Dakshina Kannada district who had reportedly participated in the Nizamuddin Markaz event in Delhi have been  quarantined at the District Wenlock Hospital.

 

Of the two men, one is a resident of Pilar near Thokkottu.  It is being said that he had  returned from abroad before participating in the Markaz event.

Though both of them are as of now showing no symptoms of Covid-19, as a precautionary measure both are placed in Quarantine at the Wenlock Hospital,  the District Health and Family Welfare Officer has informed.

Their throat swab samples have been sent for lab test and the report is expected on Thursday.
