2 die, 2 injured in road mishaps at Manjeshwar

Kasargod, April 1,2015 :  Two  persons  lost their lives and two others  sustained injuries in  two road accidents reported from near Manjeshwar on March 31, Tuesday.

In the first mishap, a scooterist  identified as Abdul Khader(42) from Hosangadi lost his life while  the pillion rider Siddique (28) sustained injuries when the scooter collided with a  car heading towards the Mangaluru Airport. It is learnt, both Khader and Siddique were returning home after fishing when the mishap took place.

In another accident on the National Highway at Udyavar,  Thausif (21) from Uppala  breathed his last when the bike he was riding  was hit by a pick-up vehicle. Ilyas (22) also of Uppala who was pillion riding was injured.

Manjeshwar police have registered a case.
