2 Youths Nabbed on Kulshekar Church Premises for Possessing Heroin

The detectives of District Crime Intelligence Bureau (DCIB) acted on a tip and nabbed 2 young men on the premises of Kulshekar Church on grounds that they possessed heroin, a substance that has been banned. The arrested have been identified as Roshan D’Mello (18) and Mohammed Nisar (23). 

The DCIB detectives received a tip that certain young men were consuming drugs on the premises of Kulshekar church. Acting on this tip, the sleuths rounded up the young men and caught them red handed. About 510 grams of heroin, a mobile, a Kinetic Honda, and a Bullet bike were seized by the police. A case has been registered against the two and they will be produced in court on Thursday. 

Last year, the parish priest of Kulshekar had sought the help of the police because some anti social elements were disturbing the peaceful and sacred atmosphere of the church and its premises. The troublemakers had protested against the priest when a move was made to close the gates of the church at night in order to preserve its sacredness and also to prevent any criminal activities from happening in its premises.
