19-year-old engineering student dies in road mishap

Udupi, Oct 08, 2016 : An engineering student died on spot while pillion rider seriously injured after their bike skids off Mannapalla Road near Ganapathy temple Manipal today October 08, Saturday.

 

The deceased is identified as Harshith (19), son of Diwakar of Coffia Hotel at Udupi . He was persuing his engineering at Bantakal engineering College.

As per the sources  Harshith and Himanshu were on their way to Manipal . When they reached Mannapalla road Bike skids off and Harshith died on spot and Himanshu rushed to private hospital.

Reckless driving was the reason for the accident.The case has been registered at Manipal police station.
