19 new Covid-19 cases in DK, Udupi reports 11 new infections on Thursday

Mangaluru, Mar 04, 2021:     Dakshina Kannada district recorded 19 fresh Covid-19 cases on Thursday, taking the total cases in the district to 34,506.

 

The district has 205 active cases undergoing treatment at hospitals, Covid care centres and in home isolation. As many as 10 patients were discharged, taking the total number of recoveries to 33,561 .

The officials have booked 35,256 mask violation cases in the district and collected a fine of 36,32,710 so far.

Udupi

As many as 11 people were found infected with Covid-19 in Udupi, taking the total number of cases in the district to 23,651 as on Thursday.

As many as 9 patients were discharged in the district, while there are 73 active cases.

A total of 190 deaths have occured so far in the district.
