16 new Covid-19 positive cases in DK and 7 cases in Udupi

Mangaluru, Jan 20, 2020:     16 people from Dakshina Kannada and 7 from Udupi tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. As many as 42 patients in DK and 4 in Udupi were discharged from hospital.

 

With this the total Covid-19 positive cases in the DK district rose to 33,479 and 242 cases are currently active. A total of 737 deaths have occurred till date.

Udupi district has reported 7 fresh cases and with this total positive cases rose to 23,234 cases with 30 still being treated at the designated hospitals. The district has reported 189 COVID-19 fatality so far.
