13 villages in Belthangady to get coin water booths

Beltangady, Jun 16, 2016:  : As per the government programme of providing pure drinking water to the people in times of water scarcity in the future, several water units with coin box booths will come up in 13 villages of Belthangady taluk  in the first phase.

All one has to do is to drop in a Re. One coin and press a  button. Ten litres of water would be available. The person can drop another Re One coin if he needs more water.

The units will come up at Kanyadi in Dharmasthala, Sulkeri in Aladangady, Nelyadka in Arasinamakki, Mairothadka in Bandaru,   Maddadka in Kuvettu, Madanthyar, Kajoor in Mithabagilu, Dompadapalke in Nada, Payyodigudde in Padangadi, Nala in Kaliya, Goliangady in Kukkedi and  at Venoor.

 Each  unit will cost Rs 8.5 lakhs and will be ready by the beginning of 2017.
