12 yr boy fatally run over by lorry near Bappanadu

Mulki, May 21, 2018: A 12 year old boy has lost his  life in a macabre road mishap wherein  a lorry which rammed into a bus went out of control and  ran over a boy who  along with his parents was waiting for the bus  in front of the Bappanadu Temple at Mulki on Sunday night.

 

The deceased boy is Rakshith Kumar,  a resident of Menasagi  in Rona taluk of Gadag district. The mishap occurred when the watchman of an apartment near Mulki Bappanadu was waiting for the bus to go to his hometown along with his wife and two children.

The mini bus which was proceeding towards the temple was hit by a lorry which was heading towards Udupi from Mangaluru. The lorry then ran over the boy.

The bus driver and a few passengers too were injured in the mishap.
