10-year-old boy drowns in storm water drain in Malpe

Udupi July 07, 2016:  A 10 year old boy slips and falls into a paddy field filled with storm water drowns at Keralkalabettu in Malpe. The incident took place on July 06,Wednesday.

 

The deceased boy is identified as Pawan(10).

It is said that Pawan was on  his way to grandmother’s house to play.On the way he had to cross narrow path in a paddy field . As he was walking  he slipped and fell into the water drowned is suspected.

His family along the  relatives searched for him but there trace of  him.  They informed the fire personnel, finally they traced his body in the storm water drain.

The  Malpe police are investigating the case.
