1 dead, 3 injured in car-lorry collision near Murdeshwar

Bhatkal, Sep 11,2017 :  One person died and three others sustained serious injuries in a collision between a car and a fish laden lorry on the National Highway 66 at Basti near Murdeshwar on September 10, Sunday. The condition of two of the injured is critical.

The deceased person has been identified as Bhasker (70) of Talachery in Kerala. The injured Suresh (34), Ravindran (65) and Sanjeev (4) have been hospitalised.  The four were returning to Kerala  from Murdeshwar after visiting various pilgrim shrines.

A complaint has been lodged at Murdeshwar Police Station. Lorry driver Manjunath has been arrested by the police.
