Mangaluru, Feb 09, 2018: State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader has urged the BJP National President Amit Shah to stick to topics on elections and development during his upcoming visit to the district.
Speaking to reporters here, Khader also made an appeal to Shah not to resort to divisive politics and disturb the tranquillity of the region.
On the controversy over an Endowment Department circular regarding acquisition of Mutts, Khader said it was a closed chapter now that the CM has issued a clarification. He also made it clear that the government has no intention of interfering in religious issues.
Referring to the Disha Udyoga Mela to be held at Town Hall on February 17, Khader said already over 5000 job aspirants have registered their names. So far 89 companies too have registered for the job fair which is organised by state government, the district administration and Alva’s Educational Institutions, Moodbidri.
An orientation camp is scheduled to be held at KPT on February 10 for those who have registered for the job fair, the minister stated.
