Former chief minister claimed ignorance over the internal agreement, terms and conditions between Yeddiyurappa and H D Deve Gowda.  “I have never said that I would ensure the downfall of BJP government. But the BJP government would fall if it fails to win at least eight among the 15 by-elections in December, he said responding to a query on former chief minister Kumaraswamy’s tweet.

He and KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao had submitted a demand for disqualifying MLAs who defected from the party. The allegations made by disqualified MLA Dr Sudhakar are true and he is responsible for Sudhakar’s disqualification.  He declared that SC’s refusal to accept the audio recording as an evidence was not a setback to Congress.

He also declined to comment on former minister Janardhan Poojary’s comments against him. KPCC state president Dinesh Gundu Rao accused JD(S) of being capable of doing anything for power. Rao said BJP had no moral right to question Congress as they had not contributed to the growth of the nation.
