’Divyang’ international athlete MJ Archana felicitated

Manipal, Dec 13, 2016: Coastal district based M J Archana, a student of Asare, home for the mentally challenged, was felicitated by the Governor of Karnataka Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala on December 9 at the inaugral ceremony of the 3rd SAFI, Self Advocacy Forum of India national convention at the Indian Social Institute in Bangalore. Archana is a talented sports person and has won several medals at international swimming contests.

On the occasion, persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (PWIDDs) were felicitated. SAFI in association with Parivaar, National Confederation of Parents’ Organizations (NCPO) is committed to serve the cause of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
