’Bible, Day and Night’ event ends

Mangalore, March 17: “Bible Day and Night” a 27-hour continuous preaching of the New Testament, ended at Holy Cross Parish, Cordel on March 16 at 7.30 pm.

 

 

 

This is the first Bible programme of its kind to be held in India. The Holy Cross parish has organized this programme on account of the Lenten season and also because the Pope has dedicated the year to the clergy.

Fr Victor Machado, rector, St Joseph’s Seminary, Jeppu, and diocesan vicar general Monsignor Denis Moras Prabhu were the chief guests presented at the function.

 
On the occasion, Fr Lawrence C D’Souza, director, St John’s Medical College, Bangalore, and former parish priest of Cordel parish, applauded the parishioner’s who took part in the event.
