"They risked their own lives to save me" Thokkottu’s Covid-19 cured man’s video viral

Mangaluru, April 20, 2020:    "The Police Department took great care of me. They ensured that I got the best of treatment in the hospital. The hospital doctors and nurses  risked their own lives to treat me," the man from Thokkottu who was cured of Covid-19, was without words and  sobbed  as he recounted the very good treatment he received at the hospital.

When this man who was discharged from the Wenlock Hospital three days ago returned to Thokkottu, despite being a sealed down area, residents of the area accorded him a warm welcome by clapping and expressing their joy.

"Allah gave me this  disease. I got very good treatment at Wenlock, the staff there used to frequently enquire my health and also  ensured  I got whatever I needed.  The medical staff there used to profusely sweat wearing the PPE kit. But they risked their own lives to ensure I did not die of Corona," he said.
 This particular video of this Covid-19 cured man is now viral and even Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Dr P S Harsha has  shared this video in his Twitter account.
