‘Paddadana Mela’ inaugurated at Sri Kadri Manjunatheshwara Temple

Mangalore, Dec 30, 2013: Ganesh Rao, chairman, Karavali Educational Institutions inaugurated the ‘Paddadana Mela’ today at Sri Kadri Manjunatheshwara Temple on December 30, Monday.

Participating as the chief guest, Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Kannada Sahitya Parishath said that through the special Tulunadu Jatre (festival) will be organized as a part of Tulunadu Teru will depict lifestyle of Tulunadu people at Nehru Maidan on January 5 from 10 am to 7 pm. 

This will provide an opportunity for the people to see the old utensils used in households, ancient coins, foreign currencies and also Tulunadu delicacies, he said.

A.J.SHetty, trustee of Sri Kadri Temple presided over the event.

The Paddana Mela was organized at various places under the direction of Dr.Rajesh Alva Badiyadka, Tulu World.com.
