" Nalin has no wrong intentions" : Hindu Hitharakshana Vedike backs MP

Mangaluru, Jan 7,2017 : The Fajir  Hindu Hitharakshana Vedike  has come out in strong support of the Dakshina MP Nalin Kumar Kateel who is in the eye of a storm for his ’fire’ remarks at a protest meet at Konaje recently.

Speaking to reporters here on January 7, Saturday, Rajesh Shetty, leader of the Vedike claimed that the MP had no wrong intentions while making the statement . At the same time he said the MP who had turned emotional  during the protest had made the wrong statement by mistake.

Rajesh was highly critical of the case registered against the MP despite the latter issuing a clarification.

He further demanded that the killers of Karthik Raj be arrested and justice be done.  Lest a demand would be placed for a CBI probe into the case, he added.

Karthik’s father Umesh who was also present said  his son had no enemies and that he was also not part of any  organisation. He also made a fervent appeal to the Police Department to trace the killers.

Vedike leaders Sesappa Poojary, Jagadish Alva and others were present.
