“Mechanically operated two level Car Parking Facility” at Karnataka Bank

Mangaluru, Jan 24, 2020: Karnataka Bank today commissioned “Mechanically operated two level car parking facility” at Bank’s old Head Office Complex, Kodialbail, Mangaluru.  Out of the total 36 car parking slots, 18 units are in the ground level and another 18 units are at the first level. 

 

Inaugurating the new facility, Shri Mahabaleshwara M.S, Managing Director & CEO of the bank said “It is a forward looking initiative towards effective utilization of the available parking space. Keeping in mind the increasing volume of vehicles and the limitation of space for expansion at this prime location of the city, we have taken a forward position in capacity utilization which will also be cost effective in the long run. We are the first institution to install this facility in Mangaluru and I believe we are setting an example for other corporates to effectively use parking space in the city.”

Also present during the function are Shri Balachandra Y V, Chief Operating Officer, Shri Gokuldas Pai, Chief Business Officer, Shri Muralidhar Krishna Rao, General Manager, executives and members of staff.
