“Karnataka Bank donates Impedance Audiometer”

Mangaluru, Nov 21, 2016: The Karnataka Bank Limited (“Karnataka Bank”, “Bank”) has been supporting various social initiatives as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, aimed at promoting a more inclusive society.

MD & CEO of the Bank, Shri P Jayarama Bhat inaugurated one such initiative of the Bank at Guild of Service (Seva Samajam) (Regd), located at Pandeshwar, Mangaluru by donating an Impedance Audiometer – an instrument used in detecting hearing defects. This is a corrective institute for the speech and hearing impaired which has been rendering exemplary service since 1974 by offering free treatment to the poor without any bias. Speaking on the occasion Shri P Jayarama Bhat, MD & CEO of the Bank said “The Bank has always been responsive to the needs of the society. We are happy tohave contributed to this noble cause and intend to continue to accord high priority towards the betterment of individuals with special needs.”
