The monsoon, which entered the coastal districts two days ago, has intensified  There is heavy rain and it continued to most the day.  Rain lashed several regions in the State in the last 24 hours.

In what is believed to be a case of suicide following dejection and despair, a young pair, both minors were found dead at Tannirbavi beach on June12, Thursday evening. The bodies were found together with a shawl and belt tied around. It has been learnt that they were cousins.
