When a caller said  many vehicles were being parked on the Padukere bridge near Malpe and that only one bus was plying in the area, though three bus permits were issued, Superintendent of Police, Laxman Nimbargi, said parking of vehicles would not be allowed on the bridge. He would take up the matter of the bus permits with the authorities, he said.

A caller from Kundapur complained that many migrant workers and their children were moving around unsafely on the road near Nehru Maidan and the National Highway 66 there had been damaged. Mr. Nimbargi said he would instruct the Kundapur Traffic Police to look into the matter. The Navayuga company would take up repairs of National Highway 66 in Kundapur and other places after the monsoon, he said.

Another caller said a lot of heavy vehicles were being parked from Karavali Junction to Ambalpady Junction here and this was obstructing traffic. Mr. Nimbargi said traffic police would be directed to take stern action against erring vehicle owners.

A caller said transgenders were harassing shopkeepers and demanding money at Ambalpady here. SP  Nimbargi said the police would inquire into the matter.

When a caller from Barkur said cigarettes and tobacco products were being sold near the Degree College there, SP   Nimbargi replied he would ask the Brahmavar police to look into the matter.

A caller from Udupi said buses were not parking at the bus bay at the Indrali Bus Stand here and this was blocking traffic. SP Nimbargi said he would ask the Manipal police to look into it.
