Vinayak Baliga murder case : Duo arrested?

Mangaluru, March 26, 2016 : According to a local daily the Police who are investigating into the case of brutal murder of RTI activist Vinayak Baliga have arrested two persons in Hassan.

Vinayak Baliga Sources revealed that the two accused are from Padil and Bondel areas in the city and were in hiding in Hassan.

Unconfirmed sources have given the names of the two arrested persons as Vishit and Vineet. It is still not known as to at whose behest the murder which in all probability was a case of contract killing, was executed.

Sources said the police are likely to make a few more arrests in this case.

It may be recalled here that RTI activist Vinayak Baliga, an electrical contractor by profession was hacked to death by some assailants close by his house near Kodialbail during the wee hours of March 21, Monday.
