This central operations office, is an appreciable thought for the many preparations and all the minute work that will go into it’s success. Over 10 thousand are expected to witness the ordination, not only Catholics from the city but from all over the district, state and beyond. This central office will help various committees and responsible people to coordinate with each other. It is the fruit of experience and interest on the part of our dear Bisop here now, who has served this diocese for 22 years, even before it was bifurcated to form Udupi diocese too. His interest in preparing all matters to welcome the new bishop in a most fitting manner are beyond all description. Mangalore diocese over the years has been built up as a very active and forward catholic centre. It has contributed many Priest, religious and even the highest number of Bishops all over the sub continent and over seas too,".

Bishop Dr Aloysius spoke appreciating the work put in by the organisation committee and it’s leaders, stressed that ordination of the bishop is not only important to Christians, but to entire church and state and further. We hope to leave no effort  to organise  in a very solemn and joy filled manner. It is a land mark event here, but within the norms of the stature of the church. This event, should glorify the almighty God; and by His grace bring down all blessings for the future good of the Diocese and all people of the region and country. The celebration is chiefly religious and will keep in mind the suffering of those who are facing natural calamities here.
