Young woman, 12 yr old girl drown in Ramasamudra

Karkala, March 28, 2020: A 26 year old woman and a 12 year old girl have met a watery grave in Ramasamudra on Friday.
The deceased are Kavitha, wife of Mohan, a resident of the town and Deekshitha, daughter of Vani of Kabettu. If Kavitha hailed from Bhadravathi, Deekshitha was of Andhra Pradesh origin.
It is learnt that Deekshitha who had first stepped into the water had slipped and was about to drown when Kavitha who was at the spot rushed to help her. Eventually both of them drowned.
