Young girl commits suicide by hanging herself in Bantwal

Bantwal: September 29, 2015: A 24-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her house in Nelyapalke in Bantwal on September 28, Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Roopalatha (24) daughter of Kusumavathy.
According to the sources Roopalatha was engaged to a man from Kakyapadav and her marriage was fixed.
On Monday when Kusumavathy had gone to the bank in Allipade, Roopalatha allegedly hanged herself using her shawl.
When her mother returned home from bank, both the doors were closed. As Roopalatha did not open the door, Kusumavathy who grew suspicious informed the locals who entered into the house removing the tiles and were shocked to see Roopalatha hanging.
The reason behind extreme step is not known, however it is suspected that Roopalatha might have got frantic about her martial life and committed suicide.
A case has been registered at Bantwal police station
