Young bank employee killed as bike crashes against electric pole

Karkala, April 14, 2016 : A youth who was serving as Assistant Manager with HDFC Bank was killed when his new bike crashed against an electric pole at Karikallu in Miyar on April 14, Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Franklin D’Cunha (25). He hailed from Daregudde in Moodbidri.
The mishap took place when Franklin was on his way to his sister’s house in his new motorbike.
It is learnt, Franklin who sustained serious injuries in the mishap died while being rushed to Manipal Hospital after initial treatment at the Karkala Government Hospital.
