Young IT woman employee found dead in Bantwal

Bantwal, Apr 28, 2016: According to reports, a 24-year-old woman was found hanging from a tree near Karinjeshwara Kshetra in Bantwal rural police limits. The police gave the name of the deceased as Chaitra, wife of Harish of Muchchur and daughter of Girish Rai, Savanur.

dead youngChaitra was said to be working in an IT company in Mangaluru and was staying with her relatives at Bikarnakatte in the city.


She used to visit her husband on weekends. Though the exact reason of the suicide is yet to be ascertained, the police quoted  Rai in his complaint that his daughter had severe stomach ache. He reportedly said that he did not have any suspicion over her death. Bantwal rural police have registered a case and are investigating.
