Mangalore, 27 July, 2014: XL Frame Gallery, an exclusive retail outlet for pictures frames was inaugurated in the city on Sunday, 27th July by the renowned portrait artist Ramdas Shevgoor. Manel Annappa Nayak, Trustee of Women’s National Education Society was the guest of honour on the occasion.

XL Frame Gallery is promoted by the well known photographer Manju Neereshwallya and his wife Mahalaxmi Shenoy and it is situated adjacent to their Studio XL at Mangala Complex, Car Street, Mangalore.

Ramdas Shevgoor was joined by community elder Umesh Shenoy in lighting the lamp. In his inaugural address Ramdas Shevgoor felicitated the promoters on undertaking the new venture and observed that this was a much needed service for preservation and attractive display of photographs and paintings.

The air-conditioned showroom offers over 500 designs of decorative photo frames, available in metal, wood and fibre finish. The picture frame sizes can be customized to suit the requirements of the customers.

The showroom includes a specialized GSB community photo section, where customers can find framed photos of GSB community swamijis, temples and family deities (Kuladevatas).
