Mangalore, Nov 10, 2011 : A workshop near Durga Auto Works in Gorigudda caught fire at 7:30 p.m. on Nov 9 Wednesday.
Reportedly, the fire was caused by a short circuit. Although the workers managed to save a few items, the workshop could not be saved. The fire fighting personnel arrived in time to prevent the fire from spreading to the cars parked near the workshop.
The fire has destroyed 35 litres of oil thinner, tiles, wiring, sheet roofs, spare parts, a table, and records, along with Rs. 10,000.
Lokesh Salian, the owner, provided details of the loss to the fire fighting personnel.
