Puttur, Apr 12, 2018 : Vivekananda College of Engineering & Technology, Puttur celebrated Talents Day-VOBGYOR on April 12, in its Campus.

 

 

“Everyone has the talent but one needs to make use of it,” said Sri. Anand Kumar S K Proprietor, of Master Plannery, Puttur. He was speaking as the chief guest. He emphasized that there is no alternative to hard work and advised students to like their work and enjoy it. He also said to achieve one needs take a risk which is directly related to success.

Dr. Kalladaka Prabhakar Bhat, President of Vivekananda Vidyavardhka Sangha presided over the function. He expressed endorsed the views of the chief guest and said students’ needs to use their talents for the betterment of others and not to run behind money & fame, which will make them lose their talents.

Faculty & Students achievers in various spheres like sports and cultural activities were honoured on the occasion by the dignitaries. Earlier Mr. Kirthan B R student of Civil engineering dept. welcomed the gathering. Ms. Sangeetha, faculty of E&C Dept. and Mr. Balachandra Gowda, PED of VCET presented Chilume and sports reports respectively. Ms. Naksha Rai, a student of Information science department proposed the vote of thanks.

President, VCET governing council, Sri.Muralidhar Bhat B., treasurer VCET governing council, Dr. M S Govinde Gowda Principal, Prof. Vivek Ranjan Bhandary, Campus Director, Pof.Bhasker Kulkarni, Convener of the program, other Directors of VCET governing council, special Invitees and others were also present.

Students Mr. Chninmaya Prasad and Ms. Srilakshmi compered the program.Inter department students Cultural competitions program were held after the formal stage program.
