Vittla clash : Cops arrest six persons

Bantwal, May 21, 2018: Vittla police have arrested six persons in connection with Saturday’s clash and untoward incidents.
Two persons named Dinesh alias Dayananda (31) of Pambettadi near Panja and Nithin of Kerale in Bantwal taluk were arrested with regard to the clash that took place in Vittal station limits following a fake news on WhatsApp. The duo has been accused of disrupting peace by posting an inflammatory message on WhatsApp.
Four others too were arrested in connection with the clash. The accused have been identified as Mohammad Tameem (28), Abdul Rahiman (35), Mohammad Zakaria (25) and Sulaiman (39).
Further investigations are in progress.
