Mangalore, Apr 18: Vision 2010, an art and craft exhibition, will be organized by Saanidhya, a residential school and training centre for the mentally challenged, on Arpril 17 – 18 at Kadri Park, said President Mahabala Marla and Honorary Secretary Vasanth Kumar Shetty at a press meet held on Tuesday. DC V Ponnuraj will inaugurate Vision 2010 at 5:30 p.m.; and G R Lawhale, the DGM of Union Bank will be the chief guest.

They also informed the press that the works of art and handicrafts of the students will be exhibited at Vision 2010. The school has been conducting a number of such programmes to create awareness among the public on the abilities of the differently abled, they said. 

Mr. Shetty also said that Sanidhya Habba will be celebrated on April 18. The students will present a drama titled “Parivarthane” and a ballet based on culture and land. DC of Bangalore (Crime) Siddaramappa will inaugurate this programme. Manohar Prasad, the bureau chief of Udayavani, will preside over the programme. Sudheer Ghate, the chairman of Magnum Intergraphiks Pvt Ltd, and Ravi Shetty, the chief manager of the Union Bank of India, will be the chief guests
