Mangaluru, Feb 20, 2018: Veteran Cricketer Virender Sehwag who is known for his witty tweets, has this time surprised Kambala fans of Tulunad by Tweeting for Kambala in the backdrop of President Ram Nath Kovind approving the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Karnataka Amendment) Bill making Kambala a legal rural sport.
" All Clear Signal for Kambala is great news. Rural sport needs to be preserved. Great that #Kambala bill got President’s approval, making Kambala a legal rural sport in Karnataka.Greater that it escaped hypocritical organization’s attempt to block avenues which rejuvenate the youth " read a Tweet from Sehwag which has already garnered 16k likes and 2.5k retweets.
It is a known fact that Sehwag is extremely popular on social sites where he has managed to carve his own niche by coming up with some great tweets. The sense of humour in many of his tweets are also well appreciated.
