Villagers join hands with cops to close DK roads leading to Kerala

Mangaluru, March 25, 2020:  As Kasargod has reported many Coronavirus positive cases, an attempt to prevent people from the neighbouring district enter  Dakshina Kannada has been made  by  villagers as well as police on March 25, Wednesday. Several inner roads in Konaje which can lead to Kerala have been blocked  by dumping mud on the roads using JCB.

 

Road-closed


The  Bakrabailu-Pathur  road, the  Sulliame - Mudipu road that leads to Hosangady and Poyathabail in Kasargod have been closed by dumping mud.

This step has been taken as people from Kerala were trying to enter the district through these roads following strict vigil at Talapady.
