Video of Teacher thrashing student goes viral, case registered

Bantwal: September 9, 2015: A case has been registered against a teacher after a video of him trashing student went viral on Social Media.
The incident occurred few days back, however the case was registered on Wednesday at Vital police station.
The case was registered by the Leader of Dalit Seva Samiti, Sheshappa.
The complainant Sheshappa urged the police to investigate the issue and take firm action against the teacher Somasundara Shastri.
The video reportedly shows the teacher mercilessly beating the boy at a veda camp, asking him whether he was a Brahmana or a Kshatriya.
A complaint has also been given to women and child welfare committee.
The police are investigating the issue.

How sad a small boy beaten worst than n animal. He is not fit to be teacher.
The person has to punished for this inhumane act. He is merciless.I pity the child . Seeing the video on a social media my eyes run down.
We respect our teachers but teachers shouldn’t have this attitude. Patience is virtue ,we should make them understand by our words and not by beating them. Every one makes mistakes and after all they are children.
