Mangaluru, July 4,2017 : A vaccination programme for Haj pilgrims organised by the Haj Committee at Yenepoya Hospital at Kodialbail here was inaugurated on July 4, Tuesday by State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister called upon all Haj pilgrims to pray for the welfare and betterment of the state during their Haj tour. He said the State government has made all arrangements for the smooth travel of Haj pilgrims. The government has identified land for Haj Bhavan in Mangaluru and even released grants for the same, he added.
Yenepoya Mohammad Kunhi, President of Mangaluru Haj Management Committee presided over the function. Machhampady Abdul Hameed Musliyar, Chief of Darul Irshad Educational Centre, Maani offered Duwa.
Sarfaraz Khan of State Haj Committee said a total of five flights carrying Haj pilgrims will take off from Mangaluru International Airport on July 24 at 1 pm, 4.10 pm and at 1 pm on July 25.
MK Aboobakker Siddique, State Haj Committee Member, Dr Tahir, Chief Medical Officer of Yenepoya Hospital and others were present.
