United Christian Association website launched

Mangalore, Nov.30: Retired Lt.Col. Mr. John Seravo launched the website of United Christian Association www.unitedchristian.in on November 29 at Carmel Hall, Bikarnakatte, Mangalore.
In his inaugural address, he said the launch of the website has heralded a new era for the Association. The website is a powerful media to educate the society on cultural and religious issues and to preserve and promote communal harmony, Lt. Col. Serao observed.

He also stressed the need of a strong laity which can work for the cause of the humanity.Expressing concern over the increasing cases of violation of human rights, he called upon the society to fight such violation with all its might. He further exhorted the UCA members to carry forward the good work done all through these years.

UCA President Mr. Alban Menezes welcomed the gathering. Ajith D’Souza, Dean, Milagres College Kalianpur and Mrs Renita D’Souza were the resource persons of a leadership training programme conducted on the occasion. Mr Jeevan Vas and Mr Rony Crasta compered the program. More than 100 members and well-wishers from various parishes participated in the programme.
