Mangaluru, March 12, 2016 : An unidentified person has reportedly ended his life by jumping into the river off the Netravathi Bridge on March 11, Friday.

It is said the man who  was seen walking alongside the bridge had all of a sudden   plunged into the waters. Though some people who were in boats nearby tried to rescue him,  it was a futile exercise.

Search is on for the body of the person.
