Mangaluru, March 09, 2020: The mutilated body of a young man was found on the railway tracks beneath the second bridge at Morgansgate late night on Sunday. The two legs were found separated from the rest of the body.
The age of the deceased is estimated to be around 30-35. A bag with liquor in a Bisleri bottle and a receipt of cash withdrawal from a bank at Thrissur was found in the pockets of the trousers worn by the deceased. Except some coins, there was nothing else in the purse.
Railway police said there was the possibility of the man falling from a moving train.
The body was shifted to Wenlock Hospital by the Railway Police with the help of Ganesh of Ganesh Ambulance and a few others.
Railway Police are investigating the case.
