Mangalore, Oct 23, 2014: An unidentified man was found dead  near the Urva Marigudi on October 23, Thursday morning.

The body was noticed near the steps of the MCC Bayalu Ranga Mantapa in the area with the head of the person badly smashed, possibly with a heavy object.

At the outset it appears to be a case of murder. R Hithendra, City Police Commissioner, Vishnuvardhan, DCP and Urva Police have rushed to the spot.
