Underworld don Kali Yogish aide arrested in shootout case

Mangaluru, Mar 03, 2018: An accomplice of underworld don Kali Yogish has been arrested by the CCB police in connection with the three shootout incidents reported recently.
The arrested person is Dinesh (35) of Haripade Mane near Haleyangady. Police have seized two mobile phones belonging to the accused. He was reportedly in constant touch with Kali Yogish, providing information to the latter whenever he demanded.
Dinesh was wanted in connection with the shootout at a textile shop at Carstreet, at a jewellery store in Mulki and a businessman’s house in Kulai.
Earlier on December 28, two persons named Chandrashekhar and Manoj Kumar who are also accomplices of Kali Yogish were arrested and two pistols and seven live bullets had been seized from them. On February 14 this year, Tejpal said to be an informer to Kali Yogish was arrested.
Further investigations are underway.
