Mangaluru, Jan 20, 2016 : Three notorious cattle thieves were trapped by the Ullal Police in true filmy style of operation during the wee hours of January 19, Tuesday. The police had to give the accused who were in a Tavera a hot chase from Tokkottu to Talapady in order to apprehend them.
The police team which acted on a tip off had rushed to Tokkottu to nab the accused who were planning a cattle theft. If three were trapped, two others managed to flee. Among other things, police have also seized a sword, chilli powder and rope from the accused who had reportedly even threatened a family the previous night.
Those arrested are Irshad (30) of Chembugudde said to be the main accused. The other two are Imran (24) of Farangipete and Mutalib (35) of Kanjanady Kalkatta. These three and the other two who were in the vehicle had moved at great speed on seeing the cops. Finally ,near Talapady three of them rushed out of the car and began to run when they were apprehended.
Police say Irshad had as many as 15 cases against him in different police stations in DK, Udupi and Kasargod districts. He was wanted both in cattle theft as well as chain snatching cases.
Thanks to the Department for arresting the criminals involved in many cases including cattle trafficking. They look dangerous by sight.

The weapons and the chili powder is not needed for the cattle trading? They are supposed to be some notorious thieves and have shouldn’t provide any bail.
Mangalore has become center for crimes and theft these days.The police have done a wonderful chase in capturing the culprits. The other two are the manhunt will be behind the bars soon.
